Staffan Ohlsson has spent 15 years as Linux system administrator and 6 years as Beamline Support staff at ESRF. He has also worked another 12 years at CNRS and CERN with system administration support with mainframes, DEC machines and Apple computers and even Next computers and VAX/VMS and some other stuff.
An introduction to ESRF beamlines, staff, users and information about the upgrade program starting December 2018.
