WHICH IS THE USUAL TIMETABLE FOR EXPERIMENTS?

The beamline is prepared by 9:30h on the first day the experiment is to start user data collection. Provided that the beamline is operative, you have a continuous beam until the end of the awarded beam time, including the night shift.

WHAT IS THE TIMETABLE FOR LOCAL CONTACT SUPPORT?

Local contacts support users between 9h and 22h. No support is given during the night shift.

 

WHAT IS THE TIMETABLE FOR FLOOR COORDINATOR SUPPORT?

Floor coordinators are available on weekdays from 15h to 6.30h and 24 hours on weekends and bank holidays. Last puck change request to floor coordinators can be done until 6.00h

 

HOW DO I SHIP MY DEWARS?

Please refer to the Dewar Management and Shipping page.

 

HOW TO SHIP YOUR DEWAR BACK AFTER AN EXPERIMENT?

  1. Download, fill in and print the DEWAR RETURN FORM
  2. Stick the Dewar Return Form on your Dewar case and put the Dewar in the DEWAR OUT area, just outside of the Control Hutch.
  3. Once back home, call your courier to pick up the Dewar at the ALBA address (see above).
  4. The Dewar will be available for pick up by your courier at the ALBA Reception and Delivery Area between 7-13h and 14-16h (Mon-Fri)
